DESIGNA had a great showing at the 2023 IPMI Parking & Mobility Conference & Expo last week in Fort Worth, Texas. We are grateful to all those who met with us on site and stopped by our exhibit!

The conference began with two important DESIGNA educational sessions.

We were proud to sponsor the Airport Operations Shoptalk where over 70 representatives from airports across the country gathered to discuss challenges, solutions, and today’s hottest topics for airport parking. Those topics included parking technology, passenger experience, frictionless parking, EV charging in long-term parking, and transportation.

We were proud of our educational session "Achieving the Customer-Centric Parking Vision at Children's Health Dallas," where DESIGNA-NextGen CEO John Curtiss was a featured speaker with Ricky Harbaugh, Fleet Coordinator at Children's Health, and Reginald Christian, Sr. Director of Security, Parking & Transportation at Children's Health. The session discussed the organization’s objectives and vision, and how their new parking system enhances the patient and family experience, solves some previous parking challenges, and becomes a positive reflection on the Children’s brand.

For the three-day expo, our exhibit theme was Parking in Motion. Nearly 100 attendees raced on our Carrera Racetrack. Congratulations to Phil Choi who had the fastest lap time on the Carrera track and won an iPad Pro!

At DESIGNA, we like to add special fun and activities to our exhibit booth. For the IPMI show, our espresso bar was very popular, providing coffee beverages to show attendees. On Tuesday, dozens more attended the Happy Hour reception in our booth.

We had many engaging and wonderful conversations with current and future clients, and we look forward to continuing these conversations over the next several weeks! Thanks to IPMI – the International Parking & Mobility Institute – for an excellent conference!
