DESIGNA INDIA is proud to announce its first project at the revered Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri, one of the most popular temple in the Hindu religion. The company has secured a contract for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of an advanced Parking Management & Guidance System at the JBPC (Jagannath Ballav Pilgrim Center) Multi-Level Car Parking, located just 400 meters from the temple.

This project marks DESIGNA INDIA’s first venture in Odisha and the largest multi-level car parking facility in the state. It is also the company's debut project featuring a sophisticated Parking Guidance System designed to streamline parking for visitors alike.

Key Features and Components

The parking system, scheduled for installation in August 2024 with operations commencing in September 2024, boasts several cutting-edge features:

1. CONNECT System:

   • Three entrance lanes equipped with terminals (two for cars and one for motorcycles).
   • Three exit lanes with manual payment options (two for cars and one for motorcycles).
     
     

2. License Plate Recognition (LPR):

   • LPR technology installed on all four car lanes, initially for season parking and later for ticketless for cars.
     
     

3. Mobile Ticket Payment (MTP):

   • Integration of static and dynamic QR codes for easy mobile ticket payments.
     
     

4. Pre-Booking Mobile App & Web:

   • A user-friendly mobile app and web platform for pre-booking parking spaces.
     
     

5. FASTag Parking Fee Collection:

   • Seamless parking fee collection through FASTag, ensuring quick and contactless transactions.
     
     

6. Stand-alone Customized DBS:

   • A robust Data Base System (DBS) designed to handle up to 5600 transactions per day during peak times.

The installation of this advanced parking management system at JBPC is set to significantly enhance the overall experience for the devotees visiting the Shri Jagannath Temple annually. By providing a hassle-free and efficient parking solution, DESIGNA INDIA aims to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow in the temple vicinity.
