DESIGNA revamping Customer Experience at Plaza Cumbres in Mexico

Plaza Cumbres, located in the city of Monterrey in northern Mexico, is a shopping center that is now referred to as a Fashion Mall due to its design and variety of brands you can find inside. It opened its doors in June 2005, covering an area of 17,000 square meters and providing 3,100 parking spaces. It is one of the largest and most important shopping centers in the area. It features anchor stores such as Liverpool, HEB, and Cinepolis, among others. However, within this large complex, you can find all kinds of entertainment, shopping and dining options.

Fibra Uno (FUNO), considered the pioneer in the Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) industry, created a new asset class in Mexico and marked the beginning of an important stage in the country's real estate segment.

Its growth has been rapid. From an initial portfolio of 13 properties, today it boasts 552 properties, accumulating a Gross Leasable Area (GLA) that exceeds 8.44 million square meters of commercial, industrial, and office spaces.

DESIGNA has been selected to equip Plaza Cumbres with new technology that will offer a completely revamped experience for its customers. 14 entrance lanes and 15 exit lanes, along with 20 self-payment terminals enabled for credit card transactions will be operated by original DESIGNA hard- and software.

Implementation is scheduled mid July.
