By integrating license plate recognition technology (LPR), the system enables a seamless entry and exit process without the need for a ticket.

When the visitors enter the parking garage, they can drive through the entrance, where their license plate is automatically captured by a camera within seconds. The gate opens and the visitor can drive through.

To pay, they can enter their license plate at the pay station and pay without having to draw a ticket.

After paying for the ticket, they can leave through the exit. Another camera recognizes the license plate and the gate opens by itself.

This ensures a smooth operation and reduces waiting times, which is important, especially at heavily visited locations such as Cologne city center.

This system enables quick and smooth handling of the parking process, while the license plate recognition and the options of paying via different methods provide a user-friendly approach.
