Comfortable parking for a 287-bed teaching hospital
Bryn Mawr Hospital is a 287-bed, not-for-profit, acute-care teaching hospital. It offers a full range of services, including cancer, orthopedic, cardiovascular and maternity care, supported by a dedicated team and innovative technology such as the
da Vinci robot and the NAVIO robotic orthopedic system.
Limited space, more convenience for patients
The challenge was the limited space for patients and visitors. To add convenience, the hospital introduced a monthly parking feature for staff. A highlight was the new patient pavilion with concierge services.
ABACUS across two garages
The Designa team provided a fully integrated parking management system. The ABACUS hardware covers the main garage on Old Lancaster Road with four IN+, three OUT+ and ten gates, plus two PAY EasyAccess pay stations. The garage at 101 South Bryn Mawr Avenue adds two IN+, three OUT+ and five gates. Designa provided drive, operate, report and pay function sets, plus the flexibility of a WinPOS manual cashier station for both garages.
