Designa has once again been awarded the REMONDIS Sustainability Certificate – as independent confirmation of our contributions to climate protection and environmental conservation. The calculation methodology is based on the model developed by the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT.

Yes. Designa pursues a holistic sustainability approach built on three pillars: environmental (100% renewable energy, paperless processes, sustainable procurement), economic (long-lasting, modular systems with a service life of over 20 years), and social (collective bargaining agreements, remote work, flexible working hours, and employee development).
According to its REMONDIS Sustainability Certificate, Designa saved 230.4 MWh of energy in 2025 — equivalent to the annual consumption of 14 households. At the same time, 10.2 tonnes of CO2 were saved, corresponding to a driving distance of 63,000 km.
Yes. Since 2025, Designa has sourced 100% of its production electricity from hydropower. In addition, solvent-free powder coatings are used instead of wet paints, and components are repaired and refurbished rather than replaced.
