One centralized system for a 93-acre medical campus
Lankenau Medical Center is an acute-care hospital and medical complex on a 93-acre campus in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia. The 331-bed center is one of the region's most respected teaching hospitals. Its campus is divided into three zones, each with its own parking garage, entrance and lobby.
One system for four distinct lots
The campus is divided into three zones, each with its own garage. The primary goal was a centralized system working across four distinct lots, with individual features and metrics for each. The lots offer paid parking for patients and visitors as well as some free parking, plus a monthly option for staff, accessible parking, valet, easy drop-off and campus traffic control.
ABACUS across three garages and an open lot
The ABACUS hardware covers the three garages A, B and D plus the open lot C, with seven IN+, seven OUT+, 18 gates and nine PAY EasyAccess automatic pay stations. Designa established the drive, operate, report and pay function sets and provided the flexibility of a WinPOS manual cashier station.
