The city of Osnabrück recognised early on that parking needs to be organised properly. That was the starting point for OPG, today the leading provider and operator of parking space in the city and region of Osnabrück.
The OPG group operates more than 20 car parks in and around Osnabrück, centrally controlled from the control centre in Osnabrück.

More than 130 terminals and a cloud service
Since the start of the partnership, Designa has delivered extensive solutions for OPG: more than 130 terminals in various equipment configurations. For several years, a cloud solution has also been in use, enabling higher data security and greater scalability.
Functions include licence plate recognition (LPR), credit card terminals for payment by credit and debit card, and entry and exit directly with the card, also contactless via NFC.
